Review: New Tomb Kings Skeletons

My thoughts about the new Tomb Kings previews...

Painting the Toppled Desert Obelisk

In this step-by-step tutorial, I'll show you the process I use for painting all of my desert ruins.

Toppled Obelisk and Casket Crew

Here's a look at a new piece of resin scenery that I've added to my Skull Forge Scenics shop, and an update on how my Casket of Souls is coming along.

Skeleton Reinforcements

I just finished a big push through my painting queue, and finished the bulk of the second regiment for my Tomb Kings Skull Brigade.

The Carrion Priest and Spell Counters

It's been a few months, but I've finally completed the Liche Priest kit.

Converting a Priest for the Casket of Souls

My casket of souls is coming along slowly but surely. The base and plinth done and, as every model in this army needs to be converted, I've put together a unique priest to oversee the casket.

Tomb Kings Project Queue (June 2026)

I've been participating in an Old World map campaign with my Tomb Kings, so that's where most of my hobby time has been focused lately. I have a lot of projects on my painting table, and while one of them are quite finished yet, they are getting close...

Screaming Skull Catapult Kitbash, Final

After about a month of work, the Screaming Skull Catapult is finished. Here's a look at the painted war machine:

Screaming Skull Catapult Kitbash, Part 4

With a final bit of sculpting, I finish up the catapult this week:

Screaming Skull Catapult Kitbash, Part 3

In this week's post, I tackle the basing and crew for the catapult (and a few other details).

Screaming Skull Catapult Kitbash, Part 2

Last time, I tackled the basic construction of the machine. Now it's time to address the mechanical details of the winch and modular assembly.

Screaming Skull Catapult Kitbash, Part 1

For this project, I'm combining the Ossiarch Bonereapers Mortek Crawler with parts from the Tomb Kings Screaming Skull Catapult to create a better-looking war machine.

Ushabti Archers

It took forever, but my Ushabti Archers are finished at last!

Hobby Bingo Update and Tomb Kings Progress

It's time to check in with how my Wargame Hobby Bingo card is doing in the first quarter.  I'll also give you a look at some of my ongoing Tomb Kings projects (and have a rant about Age of Sigmar).

Bowshabti Blitz!

In this post, I race against the clock to see if I can build and paint this Ushabti within 48 hours...

High Priest Settisis

Settisis is finished and ready for the battlefield!

The Tomb Guard are Finished (Almost)

Taking a look at the full unit of 20 Tomb Guard (minus their banner) and a new basing element from Skull Forge Scenics–

Liche Priest Conversions

In this week's post, I'll show you how I converted these two liche priests from the new kit with a handful of other parts.

Selketta's Battle Standard

At long last, my Tomb Kings army has a battle standard!

Bugs! Bugs! Bugs!

Just a quick post showing off my completed Tomb Scorpions and Tomb Swarms–
