Garazeb Orrelios
Halfway done with the Rebels! The crew's muscle, Zeb, is finished:

Zeb was so much fun to paint, and other than getting the golden yellow-green sides of his jumpsuit correct, he didn't give me any trouble. I was a bit trepidatious about painting his skin and stripes, so I broke it down into a few steps. Here's a look at the process that I used if you want to replicate it on your own miniature:
I began with a basecoat of Army Painter Ash Grey, darkened with a little Vallejo Ghost Grey to darken it, and then drybrushed with straight Ash Grey and again with Ash Grey brightened with a touch of Army Painter Ash Grey on the brightest spots and his face. This skin tone was followed up with a wash of GW Dreadful Visage Contrast to shade everything.

Before painting the stripes, I sealed the miniature with Tamiya TS-80 Flat Clear. That way, if I screwed up the stripes, I could clean them off with a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol without ruining the paint underneath. (The Spay is fairly resistant to alcohol.)
The color for the stripes was a mix of Vallejo Shadow Grey and GW Magos Purple Contrast, and I just painted it on as a flat color, using stills from the animated series as a guide. I also used this color to basecoat Zeb's beard and sideburns.

The final step was to apply a glaze of Magos Purple thinned with a lot of GW Lahmian Medium. I kept it very thin, and applied it mainly on the top of his arms, the side of his legs, and the back of his head. It was tempting to make him too purple, but in the show Zeb is more grey than purple, with most of the purple seen on him coming from the glow of his electrified Bo-rifle.

The final step was to tidy up his beard with some highlights using the same colors, brightened with a little Ash Grey.

The eyes were painted with a mix of yellow and green, and the eyelids darkened with a tiny bit of black mixed into the flesh color. (Zeb's big eyes were much easier to paint than Kanan's!)

And here's the Lasat, armed, armored, and ready to bash some bucket-heads:

As with the stripes, I matte-sprayed the miniature after the armor was finished, before painting the eyes and teeth on his shoulder pad to make it easier to clean up any errors.

Another tiny bit of detail that I added was the lines on the Bo-rifle's hand grips:

'Til next time!
